Let's hope the rioting is more subdued for a Round 1 Loss

Wow, the Penguins and the Canucks are on the verge of being swept; it appears that that took most of us by surprise. I briefly considered picking Quick and then quickly rejected the idea thinking they were unlikely to beat a team that made it to Game 7 of the Finals last year.

BTW, remember that observation that there are never any fights in playoff hockey? That certainly hasn't been the case this year. The Penguins-Flyers series has been particularly rough.

There's a long gushy article in the sports section this morning about Braden Holtby. WaPo can we save the tribute pieces until he's won at least a round or so?
